Project challenges
- Complex site and content structure. The portal currently covers two SPSK Schools in Łódź (the Primary School and the Music School), which required a clear division of information, separate “entrances” for each unit and consistent navigation across the whole ecosystem. The task was to organise the content so that admissions, announcements and documents would be easily accessible to different audiences.
- Admissions and day-to-day communication. The schools actively share information about admissions and school life (news, events, announcements), so it was crucial to implement news modules and a “For candidates” section with clear conversion paths (enquiry/registration). Integration with social media channels was meant to shorten the communication distance.
- Accessibility, performance and GDPR compliance. The website had to be fast, responsive and friendly to people with different needs (WCAG). At the same time, the privacy policy, cookies (Cookie Consent 2) and contact forms had to be standardised for data protection. (SPSK's guidelines and practices are also published in the BIP, the Public Information Bulletin.)
Development assumptions
We designed a modular CMS that lets the school team quickly publish news, materials for parents and candidates, and galleries on their own. The information architecture is based on a clear division into school units to shorten the time needed to reach the required content. We focused on local SEO (Łódź) and phrases such as “primary school” and “first-degree music school” to improve visibility on Google. We ensured the ecosystem is scalable – new subpages/programmes can be added easily, and it is ready for integration with external tools (e.g. analytics, newsletter).
Before
The previous version of the website no longer met today's user needs or UX/UI standards, either visually or functionally. Navigation was unintuitive and content was scattered – especially for admissions and documents. The mobile version did not provide a consistent experience on phones, and page load times made it hard to reach information quickly. There was no clear “path” for candidates and no link between the content and social media.
After working with us
The new website is fast, modern and clear – users immediately choose the school they are interested in, and key information is visible at a glance. We made sure it complies with accessibility requirements, the privacy policy and form security. Extensive news and events modules make day-to-day communication easier. The client received an easy-to-use CMS panel. The result is real time savings for teachers and a very positive reception among parents and students.
Project
The website has a clear division into units (Primary School, Music School) with dedicated admissions subpages, news and “For parents/students” sections. We implemented blocks with quick access to documents and announcements, as well as event galleries. Contact forms and admissions enquiries lead users to conversion in a few simple steps. We added social media integrations. Everything is responsive, fast and prepared for further expansion (e.g. additional programmes, classes or schools).
